Kid Of The Day

Whipping Childhood Cancer has created a program called Kid of the Day. Each day we recognize a child that is currently fighting or fought a form of childhood cancer. Their story is shared on our social media sites. The purpose of this program is to show how UNRARE childhood cancer really is and to create much needed awareness.

The Kid of the Day program is sponsored by SB&K Real Estate Team, American Backflow and Fire Services, LLC, CURE Bears for Hope and Love. Each month a child is picked at random to win our HOPE BOX (a Toys R Us Gift Card , a WCC T-Shirt, The Pie Face game, a Bear and a Qubits Construction Toy) they are highlighted as our Kid of the Month.

We would love to share your fighters story. Help us continue this program to create much needed awareness. Please send a biography and photograph to whippingchildhoodcancer@gmail.com.

KK's Toy Drive

Katelyn (KK) is the daughter of our founder, Jenny Silviano. KK bravely fought leukemia for three years and has been in remission for the past two years.

In 2012, KK started KK's Toy Drive. For the past three years she has been bringing joy, laughter, and hope while delivering toys to children who are in the hospital during the holidays.  KK's Toy Drive will continue through Whipping Childhood Cancer this holiday season and for many years to come.

Travel Grants

Childhood Cancer causes significant financial impact on families, that are forced to travel back and forth to the hospital and outside the state for study treatments and trial drugs.

Our Travel Grant program is designed to assist local families financially who are facing significant travel expenses associated with participation in an out of state clinical trial. We are currently focusing on supporting Central Florida families only, with hopes to expand this program over time. For more information or for our Travel Grant Program Application, email WhippingChildhoodCancer@gmail.com.
